The way people live for their humanity, such as in communities and economies is having a negative impact on nature and the services that power and sustainability onwards people.
According to WWF’s Living Planet Report 2018, human activity is impacting the world’s rivers, oceans, wildlife, forests, and climate, emphasizing the rapidly closing window for the action, and the global community must collectively rethink and redefine how to value, protect and restore the environment.
There are populations such as mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians that have decreased by 60 percent on average in just over 40 years.
