NOW, the first AR exhibition in Hin Bus Depot, Penang

NOW exhibition is happening right now in Hin Bus Depot Penang.
George Town - Hin Bus Depot Penang is currently ongoing their first AR exhibition presented by the sculptor Aboud Fares called NOW.
NOW exhibition is happening from February 11 (Friday) to February 27 (Sunday) this year and the operation hours are 12 pm to 7 pm for weekdays and 11 am to 7 pm for weekends. The event admission is free.
Aboud Fares, a sculptor who is Syrian born in 1988 in Damascus, currently works as a full-time sculptor based in Penang, working in his private workshop.
"Technology is getting so advanced at a fast pace that sometimes we don't even notice how advanced or how easy to approach it. We think about the future of technology like it's still far away but it's actually happening NOW," said Aboud Fares.
During the exhibition, the visitor is required to download the Perk Reality app (available on both iOS and Android) to view the 3 dimensions (3D) sculptures by scanning the QR code in the gallery. There are total 16 sculptures in the gallery.
Those 3D sculptures are able to purchase in form of the Non-fungible token (NFT) from the OpenSea marketplace or through the Perk Reality website (https://perkreality.com/).
During visiting the NOW exhibition on the weekend, the visitors were also recommended visiting Hin Market at the same time.
Hin Markets is a platform where provided by Hin Bus Depot Penang for local business to showcase their products, crafts, and even their talents in Hin Market that will be held every Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm.
